All BoJo's fault, this.
They could have gone for the bubbles design, which would have been iconic and got a sponsor. Instead BoJo did a deal whereby Mittal just paid for the steel at the cost of a few million and got eternal naming rights, and the design was comrpmised from the start because they wanted an observatory that didnt fit in with the design. Hence an architectural and financial mess.

Architecturely it is quirky and different to anything else.
It's the marmite thing, you either hate it or you like it.
I quite like it actually but they can stick their slide and their price.
I expect a few pissed up WH fans will have a pop pre or post match though.
